01 · Find your download
Check your checkout email
Look for your order confirmation and any separate download email. The download message may contain a button or link labelled Download or Download files.
Delivery timing depends on payment confirmation and order processing. If the link has not arrived after a few minutes, try these checks:
- Check Spam, Junk, Promotions and any filtered folders.
- Search your inbox for Total Repair Manuals and your order number.
- Check the email address you entered at checkout.
- If you find the message in spam, mark it as not spam so future messages reach your inbox.
Check your order
If you have an account, open your order history and select the order. Look for a download link if one is provided. You can also check the order-status link in your confirmation email.
No download button there? Use the download email, or contact us below. You do not need to place another order.
02 · Open your file
Check the end of the filename first: .pdf and .zip need different steps.
PDF → Open and read
A PDF is the manual itself. Open it with your browser or a PDF reader.
- Windows: Double-click the file. If asked, choose a PDF reader or your browser.
- Mac: Double-click to open it in Preview.
- iPhone or iPad: Find the download in the Files app, then tap it.
- Android: Find it in Downloads or your Files app, then open it with a PDF reader.
ZIP → Extract first, then read
A ZIP is a package containing files. Download it fully, then extract it before opening the manual inside.
- Windows: Right-click the ZIP → Extract All → choose a folder → Extract.
- Mac: Double-click the ZIP. Open the extracted folder beside it.
- iPhone or iPad: Tap the ZIP in the Files app, then open the new folder.
- Android: Open the ZIP in a file app that supports extraction, such as Files by Google, and choose Extract.
Keep the extracted files together. Some manuals include supporting files or folders. Check any included instructions before moving them.
Safe opening: You should not need to disable antivirus protection to extract an archive or read a PDF. Do not run unexpected programs. If your device shows a security warning, stop and contact us.
03 · Fix a download problem
The link is missing
Check the inbox steps above. If you still cannot find it, send us your order number and checkout email so we can help locate the order.
The link says expired or limit reached
Do not buy the manual again. Contact us with the exact message you see and ask for the download link to be checked or resent. Any expiry or download limit depends on the link supplied with your order.
The download stops or the ZIP will not open
Check that your device has enough free space. Try downloading again on a stable connection, and wait until the download finishes before opening it. ZIP files need extra space for the extracted files.
The manual will not open on my phone
PDFs can usually be read on phones and tablets with a suitable app. Larger archives and manuals with several files are easier to manage on a Windows PC or Mac. Compatibility depends on the files in your purchase.
Tip: Once the manual opens successfully, save a local copy so you can read it offline.
